Recurrence is a short film made during the Covid-19 lockdown and with a micro-budget. It’s based on a Reddit question;
You can’t time travel, but your phone has the internet from 5 years in the future. What do you search for first?”
I would search for the winning lotto numbers.
According to YouTube’s stats, Recurrence was released in May and seen by a handful of people. If you’ve made it this far, you’re one of the elite few.
It’s not especially a remarkable film, but I think it’s worthy of a boost. It’s one scene, made well, and acted while wearing a mask. The latter must have been a significant challenge, but Mallory O’ Kelley pulls it off without overacting. Not remarkable, but solid, clever and a welcome distraction.
The whole thing was made on an iPhone using the Filmic Pro app.
