Geek Native runs a small Patron program through which you can tip the blog every month. The money raised in this way goes back into the community with article and art commissions.
Now and then, I’m also able to say thank you with a free gift. I’ve just sent out copies of Good Strong Hands to backers.
If you missed out then there’s good news from Lone Colossus Games who have kindly made a copy of their 5e class The Gunblade available as another thank you.
If you’re a Patron now or sign up before the 14th, then you’ll get these 5e character class rules for these warriors of fire and steel.
Become a master of fire and steel capable of both melee and short-ranged combat using explosives to enhance your melee strikes while relying on your close proximity to increase the deadliness of your point blank firearm shots. Choose to protect your allies and emphasize defense over raw power, make use of multiple gunblades to deliver rapid strikes, or specialize in two-handed weapons to deal massive damage in a single impact.
D&D combat done better
Lone Colossus Games gets into D&D combat in ways more thorough than finding niches in character classes. For example, on YouTube Josh talks about the Threat Meter.
Right now, there’s a Kickstarter for Injuries and Vile Deeds which is a combat enhancement for 5e with hundreds of character options and injury rules for combat.
