There’s a UT range for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The fashion venture by Nintendo and Uniqlo is as popular as you’d expect and many of the designs are marked “low stock” as the ranges sell swiftly.
There are four ranges in the usual inexplicable Uniqlo style, which I think is either a translation quirk or a tax quirk: adult, women, kids, and baby. Perhaps “women” is different due to the cut, whereas the adult is unisex. Perhaps.
As usual, the kids get some of the best designs. Case in point, this short sleeve collection of characters might be the best in the series.
I’m also tempted by a four-panel comic strip tee which seems to sum up my experiences of Animal Crossing entirely.
However, there’s something bizarrely charming about this design which reads;
I’m tuned up and ready to troll. This one’s called farewell. K.K.
It’s suitably surreal.
