The Kingdom anime which starts off in 245 B.C. China during the Warring States period is still going. The Kingdom’s third series trailer looks impressive with many fierce warriors, dozens of battles, and some incredible military successes.
The posters for the anime are equally impressive, and you’ll find three below.
With the tagline “Keep Hope Alive”, the next series of Kingdom is actually already running. It had planned to split into two with a break in the middle, and then the lockdown hit. So, it’s taken the bold decision to restart from the beginning of the season.
Funimation is streaming the series in Japan. You can also watch Kingdom on Funimation outside Japan, but it seems only the third season.
It’s the season that covers the Coalition Army Arc in the manga. That’s a comic book series that launched in 2006 and has broken records.
The plot starts off with the slave Xin, who dreams of being a general for the state of Qin. Xin actually manages to help the young king of the region rise to power and set off on a quest to unify China.
And so, Xin becomes a commander in that army after all and part of the Warring States conflicts.
