This anime-inspired version of Iron Man won’t reach US TV any time soon. We’re looking at the last three months of 2011. Grok knows how long/if it’ll be before it appears on UK TV.
This is a Warren Ellis scripted production – I mean; it’s really his thing, isn’t it. Mr Transhumanist. He’s the guy who had a version of Doctor Doom take over the United States and back in 2004 he worked on Iron Man under a temporary but exclusive contract.
This is one of those Marvel anime projects that are being put together by Madhouse (Japanese, btw) and I think their track record is pretty good. Should be interesting to see how this pans out.
