Games Workshop has revealed a new partnership with Koyo, and this shouldn’t be cute, but it is Nurgling plushie.
Nurglings, mites of Nurgle, Khan’gurani’i are lesser daemons of the plague and disease chaos god. It’s said that each one resembles Grandfather Nurgle in some way.
Koyo typically make pins such as these Toei licensed Dragon Ball designs, and, sadly, there’s no sign of the Nurgling plushie on their shop or at Games Workshop. Not yet. Christmas is coming.
We know that Games Workshop has said this giant Nurgling will appear in their Warhammer Store on Tottenham Court Road in London.
That store re-opens on Saturday, and the green monster will be waiting for returning gamers there as part of the re-opening celebrations. I hope he has a mask large enough to fit. Wait, a plague demon to welcome people back from a pandemic lockdown? GW is flirting with press attention, aren’t they?
Obviously, for legal reasons, there can be no unofficial Warhammer plushies, but some of these might remind you of fantasy monsters.
Update: 07th October: Merchoid has these (small ones) for sale.
