Panayiotis Lines, the designer of Shadow of Mogg, an appropriately brutal look at Brexit in the guise of a tabletop RPG, has teamed up with Aled Lawlor of Mew-Tants to form Leyline Press.
The new RPG publisher will sell both designers work under one banner, and more content is planned. The first release from Leyline Press will be a hexcrawl adventure called the Isle of Glaslyn, which will be compatible with Old School Essentials.
The Isle of Glaslyn comes in a fold-out design. One side is player facing information and is intended to literally face the players as it shows the illustrated hex map. On the flip side, there’s GM facing information such as random monsters, NPCs, etc.
Classic D&D modules The Isle of Dread and The Horror on the Hill are both cited as inspirations, which give a clue to the tone of the adventure.
A Kickstarter is planned for an unnamed project before the end of the year. In the meantime, the Isle of Glaslyn is available from the new website.
