I’ve mixed feelings about dressing up dogs. Is it kind? It can certainly be cute.
Even Halloween horrors, dogs in cosplay for that spooky night can be cute. As evidence, I’ll cite the work of British retailer Custom Pets LTD and this Chucky dog costume.
It took 11 people, according to ScreenRant to control the animatronic puppet Chucky in the first Child’s Play movie. I think we can agree that sometimes, more people means less control when it comes to Halloween parties.
Did you also know that Chucky has the Crypt Keeper’s eyes? Mental Floss notes that designer Kevin Yagher made both puppets and re-used parts.
The Crypt Keeper doesn’t look much like Chucky. Visual comparisons are the name of the game here as Custom Pets have uploaded a whole bunch of other Chucky pet photos. My contention is that while all these canines are excellent cosplayers, the first bulldog makes the best Halloween horror.
