JstTerrain (pronounced “Just terrain”) just launched on Kickstarter, and there’s a “back within 48 hours” offer to add an extra and free module.
The Kickstarter is all about modules as JustBard wants to move away from battle maps and to robust modules to turn tabletops into 3d battlefields. You can see the latest totals or join in from the pitch page.
The boards are made from high-density foam, which means they’ll keep their shape, no matter what, says JustBard, and resist heat, even solvents like Acetone.
Add-ons include the large bags you might need to take the modules to see friends. You might say; friends should visit you, but I imagine some gamers will pool the module collections to great new and larger tabletops.
One panel is yours for a pledge of $35, with shipping and taxes to pay. That’s 11″x15″ of tabletop design.
As the reward tiers increase in cost, they also improve in value for money. $117 gets you 5 panels, 2 large and 3 small, of any paint scheme.
The $230 pledge is about 10% off the retail, with 10 panels of your choice, 4 large, 4 small and two more small unless you prefer to swap those two for a large one.
$460 unlocks 16 panels, with similar swap-in-swap-out options, and $690 gets you 24 panels.
At the very top, with tiers in between, is a $1,960 option for 80 panels. I can only imagine what shipping will be like and what the delivery driver will think.
Whether it’s one panel or a whole schoolroom of desks you hope to cover the delivery is estimated for March 2022.
