TaleSpire is an impressive 3d virtual tabletop and map-making software. Demiplane is a looking-for-group site that lets players find GMs and gaming groups, and GMs find players.
Sounds like a good match-up. The sites thought so too and have this week announced an official partnership. There’s a new TaleSpire Looking For Group powered by Demiplane site.
It’s not the first partnership TaleSpire has announced this month. At the start of September, Bouncyrock, the developers behind the software, revealed that HeroForge would integrate into it.
Demiplane has particularly strong virtual tool insight. While the platform is VTT agnostic, listing many different ones, Adam Bradford the D&D Beyond founder is part of the team.
While Demiplane is looking for a group site, not many tabletop gamers know to look for a group site. The partnership with TaleSpire will help introduce the solution to new audiences. The challenge in marketing Demiplane is also evident in how the site uses keywords in its copy, emphasising its video and voice chat on the homepage.
