A thing of dark desire; the limited edition Keeper Rulebook to celebrate 40 years of Call of Cthulhu is a leatherette tome with jacket. Inside there are accounts from early contributors, endpapers and the return of The Haunting.
The official release date is October this year, but gamers at Gen Con will be able to buy the 7e book early by visiting Chaosium at booth 403.
Call of Cthulhu bundles
The limited-edition leatherette Keeper book isn’t the only Call of Cthulhu release of note this week. The RPG Writer Workshop has produced two different bundles for the game.
The first bundle offers 38% off, with savings of $21.87 and titles like At One With Nature. Geek Native took a look at that horror story previously, and it’s a fine example of how freaky a Call of Cthulhu scenario can be even without combat with vile terrors.
The second bundle offers 34% off, that’s savings of $20.22 and includes titles like Into a Dark Heart and The Baskwood Island Hotel.
