Aquatope of White Sand has a new trailer, and I’m left wondering whether the anime will be a gorgeous slice of life or whether it will be a haunted and gorgeous slice of life.
You see, the official synopsis for P.A. Works’ original anime calls out that sometimes mysterious things are seen in this rundown aquarium.
Set in Okinawa, at the Gama Gama Aquarium, we pick up with 18-year-old Kukuru Misakino, and she knows the secret. Kukuru discovers Fuuku crying at the aquarium. An interesting young lady herself, Fuuku has given up on being an idol, ran away from Tokyo, and is now looking for somewhere to go.
So, Kukuru lets Fuuku work at Gama Gama, and together they have to save the aquarium.
The series is streaming at Crunchyroll, so I’m clearly going to need to add it to the formidable watchlist.
