Table Salt Gaming Designs the publishers of Robert Salters gold best-selling Battlespace: Ultra Modern Solo Skirmish Game will get a deluxe edition.
Modiphius has come on board to bring the new edition to retail, pre-orders are expected to open soon, and interested parties can sign up for alerts.
The player in the game creates a fireteam of 4 pre-made soldiers and attempts to achieve mission objectives. Battlespace creates a fog of war system by using sitrep cards, so the solo player doesn’t always know what’s going to happen.
The new edition adds;
- The Criminal Organization and Dark Lake PMC as two new enemy factions
- Three new pre-made playable forces; CIA, Spetsnaz and the SAS
- Expanded and clarified rules
- Updates to vehicles
- Character customisation for the soldiers in the fireteam
- A new mission generator
