It’s sometimes tempting to think that all 3d-printing designs are lazy rip-offs of one another. I’ve found 3DMakerist, though, and am impressed by their Mario shell design.
I know. Someone will surely tell me it’s a rip-off.
However, let’s push on because this design, no matter the origins, is a clever way to hold your Switch cartridges.
[Yoink!]
Based in the UK, which is ideal if you’re on this side of the Brexit wall of red-tape, less so otherwise, these individually made prints dispatch in a few days.
The blue shell will hold up to 10 Switch games. The bottom is flat, so you can just put the cartridge collection down wherever you want, and the lid shell comes off.
In total, we’re talking about 10cm wide, 11cm long and 9cm high.
If you’re not familiar with 3d-printed designs, then it’s worth highlighting that these shells won’t be smooth. You’ll see the lines in them, probably feel them too.
Oh, and there’s a Bowser shell alternative in green.
