I’ve a map of Skyrim on the wall by my gaming table/table-for-all-the-things. It’s a map with folds in it, and the debate rages whether to take it out from behind the plastic, flatten it in some way and replace it or whether maps look better with texture.
Team texture will surely love this map from LEGO.
It turns out that LEGO has plenty of designs that intended to be hung, but I had no idea. The world map is the most impressive, and after 30 reviews on their store, it’s a 4.5/5 purchase.
You can even customise the map by moving the landmasses around. Perhaps you’re used to American maps with America in the middle; just build the map that way.
It’ll take a while, though. There are some 11,695 blocks to go on 40 canvas wall plates.
The final piece is 65cm high, 104cm wide and is described as “challenging” for map enthusiasts.
LEGO hanging designs
I mentioned there were other LEGO builds designed to be displayed on the wall like this. They’re not so big but here’s a sample.
