It’s great. The minds of creators in the tabletop space are amazing things.
The raft of sales launched this week by OneBookShop, the company behind DriveThruRPG and partnerships likely the newly launched Pathfinder Infinite is a reminder of that.
Headlining the DriveThruRPG is a daily freebie selection. At the time of writing Memento Mori: Ars Technica is free, 2400: Orbital Decay is free, Devil Map pack is free, and Monster Kart Mayhem is free.
The main DriveTHruRPG sale is live for the next 17 days and has 13,900 items in it. The top-selling item is, right now, Onyx Path’s Deviant: The Renegades.
In this Chronicles of Darkness RPG, players wake up different, changed on an operating slab or occult altar, but have escaped with strange new powers only to find they’re being hunted by those that created them.
DriveThruRPG is just one of many sites in the OBS family running a sale. DMs Guild is too.
At the time of writing, the hottest Halloween item there is She is the Ancient: A Genderbent Curse of Strahd.
Oh yes, Ravenloft re-imagined with digital NPC portraits and is a bit more than just changing the gender of the dreadful Count.
There are some 1,714 5e titles in the DMs Guild sale.
And there’s more!
Storytellers Vault has 1,130 items on sale. This site sells World of/Chronicles of Darkness titles. Currently, Deviant is topping the charts but World of Darkness: Crimson Thaw #1 is chasing. That’s an Age 15+ rated bestselling 5th edition (not D&D) comic book from Vault Comics.
It’s good news if you’re a comic book fan because 3,187 titles from DriveThruComics are in the sale.
Indeed, some of OBS’s less well-trodden sites have deals for the spotting until the end of the month. DriveThruFiction has 1,591 books contributed with Onyx Path leading the pack again through Haunting Shadows.
The underrated and perfect for Christmas present site DriveThruCards is also taking part. It squeaks in with 193 offerings and, surprising no one, a Vampire offering in the first place. White Wolf’s old Vampire: The Eternal Struggle Player’s Guide is still available as PDF>
