When is Super Crooks out on Netflix? November 25th. And on that date, the Mark Millar (Kingsman, Kick-Ass) anime from Bones will unleash eight super-villains.
Each of the 13 episodes will be 30 minutes long and packed with hi-octane powered action. Buckle up.
A crew of small-time crooks are recruited for one last heist. We know that story, right? Except, this time, Johnny Bolt, the guy bringing the crooks together, is a super-villain, and they all have powers.
The target of their heist is a crime boss, a super-powered crime boss.
Anime staff includes Motonobu Hori (Carole and Tuesday) as director, Dai Satō (Listener) as the series composer, Takashi Mitani (Carole and Tuesday key animator) as the character designer, and Stanislas Brunet (Carole and Tuesday world designer) as the concept designer. Carole and Tuesday is a great anime.
The original comic ran for four issues.
