Goodbye, Don Glees! promises to be a gorgeous anime.
It’s about two friends who name themselves, their collective friendship, Don Glees! They meet a third boy, Drop, who lures them out on an adventure.
One forest fire and a whole load of blame later, the squad of friends are searching for a missing drone.
Ayano Okamoto gets the art director credit, but Eiko Tsunadō and Akihiro Hirasawa both get art setting credits.
The anime’s director is Ishizuka (No Game, No Life Zero), and Goodbye, Don Glees! is their first original anime.
Alexandros performs the film’s theme song, “Rock the World, which you can hear in this trailer.
We’re expecting some of the cast and crew to appear at the Tokyo International Film Festival on October 30 and we may get streaming information after that. The film opens in Japan in 2022.
