There’s a new The Joker volume out, all about Batman’s iconic villain and the video trailer for it is pretty intense.
It’s scary.
Written by Matthew Rosenberg and James Tynion IV, illustrated, coloured and inked by Francesco Francavilla with Guillem March also on the cover, art and inks; the series is a talent-packed one.
The Joker follows on from Infinite Frontier and The Joker War.
James Gordon is heading into retirement and cannot resist taking part in the manhunt on The Joker. The prince of crime is the world’s most wanted man but is something else afoot; are there forces at work behind the scenes? Again?
Frustratingly, DC’s merch and comic store aren’t yet available in the UK. If you’re outside the US, then many of the links in the trailer video will redirect to a Coming Soon page that seems o have been there since the dawn of time.
The good news, though, is that the digital release is on ComiXology. Volume one was out on the 12th, and it collects the first 6 issues in the series.
