The Girl from the Other Side is a WIT Studio adaptation of the manga by Nagabe. It’ll be a feature-length, not a series, and is made possible by a successful Kickstarter.

The manga has been nominated for the Best Comic award at the 45th Angoulême International Comics Festival in 2018. The Girl from the Other Side was on the Great Graphic Novels for Teens list by the American Library Association’s YALSA division for both 2018 and 2019.
Seven Seas has the English language rights to the manga, which is on ComiXology, and so we can see how they describe the story.
In a land far away, there were two kingdoms: the Outside, where twisted beasts roamed that could curse with a touch, and the Inside, where humans lived in safety and peace. The girl and the beast should never have met, but when they do, a quiet fairytale begins. This is a story of two people — one human, one inhuman — who linger in the hazy twilight that separates night from day.
The anime is being released as an OAD, which means it’s going out on a spinny disc first, but that doesn’t mean it won’t later be picked up by a streaming platform.
