Since the geeky wrapping paper was a hit, can I find another paper geek recommendation? A Christmas tip?
I think so.
A company called Lovepop isn’t as dodgy as it sounds. It sells pop-up cards. Paper cleverly folded opens with it to reveal a 3D work of art when you open them up. They have got a holiday-themed collection and a pop culture one. Let’s examine the intersect!
Deadpool’s Merry Whatever
Strikes me as a candidate for cards throughout the year! Getting better the further we are from Santa hat-wearing season.
Merry Porgmass
Isn’t Chewie looking a bit uncertain? He might be wondering where all the porgs have come from.
Misty Mountains
I think these mountains, which may (or may not for legal reasons) remind you of Tolkien’s epics, are an excellent year-round option. Let’s hope we don’t get year-round snow.
Season’s Grootings
If anyone was going to emerge from a greetings card made from pulped trees… it would be this little fellow!
Nordic Gnome and the goat overlord
[Zooom!]
Lovepop says this is a Yule goat pulling the sleigh. I don’t know about that, but I think it looks kinda cool! Despite all that shaggy hair, because of it!
Baby Yoda’s winter welcome
[Awww]
It feels like watching The Mandalorian happened a long time ago… but I still remember this dude.
Holiday gnome
As anyone played a gnome in D&D that looks like this? The temptation rises.
Aloha Christmas
I’ve not seen this movie yet. Is that wrong of me?
Wolf pack welcome
Howls that for a winter-themed greeting card? Wolfn’t you like to give someone that this year?
And as I slip into bad puns, I’ll leave it there. At the time of writing, there’s a Black Friday sale from Lovepop if you’re well off enough to buy many of these. There’s free shipping within the US and personalisation options too.
