Marked&Made is the system used by Nevyn Holmes’ Gun&Slinger RPG.
Gun&Slinger is a tabletop RPG designed to be enjoyed in episodic sessions with one optional GM (a Maestro), one player for the wanderer, and one for the weapon. That’s right, in the game, one character is trapped in a body that’s not their own, and as a gun, an extension of the other character’s arm.
The game is set on a dead planet that has been warped by a god’s forgotten child.
The game system? It uses Go Fish!.
Gun&Slinger’s mechanics are discussed in the Marked&Made SRD. The System Reference Document is a one-stop shop for the rules and directions for making your own RPG using the Gun&Slinger system.
For example, you must include the correct copyright text and logo somewhere in your game.
Follow the rules, and you can safely make money by selling your ideas. Nevyn Holmes not only allows it but encourages it.
Marked&Made game jam
Over at Itch.io, where the digital version of Gun&Slinger is sold, there’s a forthcoming Marked&Made game jam.
If you have an idea and are looking for a moment to package that up, then that is what the Jam is for. Other creators will be doing the same thing and sharing their outputs with the G&S community.
