I don’t see The Bundle of Holding use the term “Megabundle” very often. You have until Monday the 10th of January to grab this one.
The “grab” isn’t cheap compared to some of the BoH’s deals, but the retail value reward is high. The total value here is $339, and that’s split between $176.50 in the Hero 5E Core Collection and $162.50 in the Bonus Collection.
Your costs? $29.95 for the Core Collection, and you have to beat the threshold price to get the Bonus. That started at $39.95.
Hero is nearly 40 years old, was one of the first systems used in a superhero game, and has pushed into fantasy, sci-fi, and everywhere. There was even a time Monte Cook was the line editor for it while working for Iron Crown Enterprises.
Hero 5E Core Collection – $29.95
There are new titles in this bundle, and that’s important, perhaps frustrating too, as Hero has listed many times before. It’s never been complete, though.
- HERO System Fifth Revised Edition
- HERO System Sidekick
- 5 HERO 5E core sourcebooks
- 7 HERO 5E genre books
- HERO System Resource Kit
- HERO 5E Map Archive I
Bonus Collection
With many bundle deals, a slice of your cash is given to charity, as is the way. Once again, that charity is Direct Relief.
There are 35 big rulebooks, genre books and others in total if you secure the Bonus.
- 9 Fantasy Hero 5E supplements
- 5 Star Hero 5E sourcebooks
- 4 Pulp Hero 5E supplements
- You Gotta Have Character
