Deemo is a rhythm game from Rayark, one that reviews well but isn’t always front of mind. That may change will a feature-length movie due out in Japan on February 25th.
The latest trailer for the anime previews “Nocturne” by Hinano, which is the feature-length’s theme song.
Two studios are producing Deemo, Signal.MD and Production I.G, and there’s an executive director, Jun’ichi Fujisaku and a director, Shuhei Matsushita, plus Yoshihiro Hiramine as an assistant director. That might be enough to infer Deemo has been a complex project.
Originally, Deemo was a mobile game for iOs and Android. The app is free with Google Play Pass and after half-a-million reviews has nearly a perfect 5/5 star rating, earning it an Editor’s Choice.
Rayark describe it;
A girl who fell from the skies and lost her past;
Deemo, who plays the piano all alone in the world of the treehouse;
an accidental encounter between the two.
The music flows as the fingers hit the piano keys.
The start of a fairytale journey has begun…
