An urgent telegram from an old ally sends the investigators to a Midwestern town in search of a stolen Mythos tome, a volume of The Revelations of Gla’aki. Once the investigators arrive, they uncover evidence someone has used the book to unleash something dark, dangerous, and ravenous upon the community.
As a holiday gift to fans, Petersen Games have made a Call of Cthulhu adventure available for free.
The Call of Cthulhu scenario is suitable for 2-4 investigators and was written by Mark Hart. The illustrated 12 page PDF follows Sandy Petersen and Chaosium celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Lovecraftian horror RPG.
This scenario is set during Christmas, and investigators get involved on Christmas Eve in the 1920s.
The download has Keepers (the DM) notes, stats for NPCs and monsters. Like many Call of Cthulhu investigations, Hung by the Chimney with Care lasts for as long as it lasts.
