For one lucky reader in the UK, I have got a Gears of War scarf to give away.
You can’t buy it anymore. You can still find it on the Gears of War site, but that links back to Insert Coin, which sold it. Insert Coin says;
This design is now retired – all our designs are limited edition and are only available while stocks last.
I was lucky enough to get my hands on this limited edition simply by buying something else from Insert Coin, qualifying for a bonus scarf and landing this jacket pot. Will you be lucky too?
The scarf is 50% wool and 50% acrylic, and this knitted scarf is in the “football style” and uses the Crimson Omen theme.
Crimson Omen is the red skull with Gears’ iconic logo and the player’s health bar. If you have this scarf, you have a health bar scarf!
You need to log into the widget below and complete missions to earn points to enter the competition. Each point is a chance to win. The winner will be picked at random by the system. I’ll get in touch, confirm your address and pop the scarf in the post for you.

Gears of War, aka Gears, is a computer game series and now media franchise from Epic Games and The Coalition. A Locust Horde has attacked humanity, and the resulting battles have transformed the world.
In later games, the mutant Lambent become the third side in the already messy war. And it’s not as if the totalitarian Coalition of Ordered Governments that runs humanity is especially anything to be proud of.
It is an Xbox series of games but is also available for Windows. Gear now has its own spin-off books and models such as the Funko Pop range.
