There’s no affiliate link here, just a blogger discovering a strange, but attractive, bit of technology that conjures up images of Joe Johnston’s Rocketeer movie.
Brass, wood and jetpacks; that’s what the Rocketeer uses to bring advanced 1930s technology to life. Art Deco? I think so; bold geometric forms, rich materials, faith in technology and polish.
The Khonsu Clock Lamp does the same, with a wooden base and an arching gold-plated curve that acts as a light source and a face for the clock.
Articture, who sell the device, call it a melting point of designs.
It can also charge for your phone, headphones, or anything else you have that supports wireless charging.
The light has different settings as well. You can dim it for ambience or while watching other classic and somewhat obscure comic book movies!
