I’m a huge fan of the original Dark Crystal and will probably finish watching the TV series at some point. But! Fizzgig. What’s not to like about Fizzgig?
Fun.com is giving me some food for thought when it comes to that question. This latex and foam prop is undeniably freaky. It’s a fierce Fizzgig with peg-like teeth and a surprisingly human face.
Perhaps that’s what you want. Few other people will have a replica Fizzgig like this, and if you’re building a gaming den for D&D nights or a cool Twitch backdrop, then a fuzzy monster face behind you might be exactly the vibe you are looking for.
A detail to note is Fizzgig’s tail as this one isn’t too floppy. Fun have fibre-filled this critter’s stuffed tail and so the prop should retain its form on the shelf and, more importantly, be easier to pose facing in the direction you want. I don’t know if you’ve had to wrangle Fizzgigs before, but many models I’ve seen had the tendency to roll.
Oh, and for some reason; Fizzgig’s currently on sale at a reduced price.
