Have you ever rolled the worst possible result at the worst possible time in a tabletop game? RPGers who do this and then evict the offending dice from the table for a while, putting it in jail, refer to this as dice shaming.
We’ve seen some excellent dice shaming over the years but nothing like Colorado-based Under the Mountain Creations‘ chair of shame.
Using Etsy’s Carbon Offset shipping program, this 3d-printed creation goes to most places around the world, and it certainly ships from the US to the UK.
Under the Mountain says that the dice jails can be left ready to paint or printed in colours, but the latter may add time.
It’s worth also noting that 3d-printing tends to leave slight marks or whirls, which, if you’re not used to, might be offputting. Some colours don’t work well on the process, and you don’t get the dice with the chair.
The designs are from a group known as Fates End and Under the Mountain are licensed to print and sell the chairs.
