Oslo based WilhelMiniatures is back on Kickstarter with more absolutely horrible resin minis. Horrible and lovely.
Caves and Creeps’ second “season” brings hand-sculpted fantasy monsters to the crowdfunding platform for unique RPG battle mat encounters or just weird things to paint and impress friends with. The €1,000 goal has already been met, and you can join from the pitch page.
There are twisted versions of three classic fantasy monsters here;
- The Beholder
- The Spirit
- The Toad
I’m sure players will react accordingly when their characters encounter one of these nightmares in the darkness.
If you missed season one, then you can buy those equally quirky minis as add-ons in this campaign. WilhelMiniatures helpfully provides some scale shots.
The miniatures in this set features three classic fantasy monsters portrayed in my own style. They are all traditionally hand sculpted and resin cast in my home studio. The monsters are cast in one piece, which includes a textured base. This means that no assembly is required, and the miniatures will be ready for painting straight from the box!
A pledge of €12 is enough to be rewarded with one resin (rather than an STL file) of The Beholders. It’s €13 for The Toad and €15 for The Spirit, which is larger.
There are economies of scale as you can get the complete set for €40 or the first season for €45.
You can get even get hand-painted monsters from WilhelMiniatures at the top €90 tier.
Fulfilment is expected in April, except for that top hand-painted offer.
