Homeworld Revelations is a new tabletop RPG coming from Modiphius, and ahead of the 2d20 games’ launch, the prolific publisher has released a free Quickstart.
The Quickstart comes in at an impressive 68 pages, and that’s enough for;
- A starter ruleset; enough for new GMs and a demo play
- An adventure to take characters through
- Five pre-genned characters
Modiphius first announced Homeworld back in 2019, and it’s an RPG based on the RTS computer game same name.
In the complete game, players are crew on a Kushan fleet ship that has the universe’s secrets to discover and the Talidan to deal with. Modiphius says that the tabletop RPG will expand the universe, allowing fans to add in more detail.
Martin Cirulis, one of the original Homeworld designers, is consulting on the setting and people from both Gearbox and Blackbird. Martin is credited on the Quickstart along with familiar Modiphius names like Virginia Page, Nathan Dowdell and Sam Webb.
