Monte Cook Games has a Cypher System expansion to the Ninth World coming with Break the Horizon.
It’s a supplement all about the few people in the far future who travel more than a few miles from their homes.
The free preview is 13-pages long and contains new mounts, common vehicles and far less common numenera vehicles to facilitate travel. There are also cyphers and artifacts that can be used in journeying and, for GMs, a large index of all the travel options across every published Numenera supplement.
Break the Horizon will also have valuable equipment for travellers, which can be bought, found or crafted. The supplement will have travel-themed adventure seeds, hazards, intrusions, and new creatures and NPCs for the player characters to meet.
There are two full adventures ready to go in the book as well. Bruce Cordell, the Origins Award winner and senior designer at Monte Cook Games, authored the expansion.
The full supplement is due out in March.
