Marco Serrano and Spicy Tuna have a Kickstarter “Project We Love” and a free sample of the dangerous dungeon and accompanying systems in Knights of Lazarus.
Designed for the sci-fi horror RPG Mothership but adaptable to other systems, the dungeon is The Ship Canterbury, and your players won’t be able to crack it the first time they visit. The dungeon itself will become a reoccurring villain. The Kickstarter has been funded, but there are still two weeks to join in.
The campaign will mean 5 dungeon maps are funded, that’s 50+ unique rooms, the distilled dungeons ruleset and easy-to-use automated enemies.
The dungeon comes with 5 recurring NPCs, variable play rules, 20 rumours and 4 declassified secrets to come with them.
Knights of Lazarus will have more than 4 pages of random tables, including a random knight generator, four xenotech artifacts and rules for joining the Knights themselves.
Knights of Lazarus presents a puzzle, unsolvable the first time through. The crew must discover the best tactics to combat specialized enemies, roleplay through encounters, and choose whether to retreat or push their luck through the dungeon, The Ship Canterbury.
A pledge of $8 to support the Mothership adventure rewards a PDF of the book, a digital asset pack and the digital stretch goals.
Stepping up to $14 means backers get Knights of Lazarus and the Familiar Faces volume 1 PDFs, with asset packs for each.
Physical zines unlock at higher levels, $16 for KNights of Lazarus and $28 for the Spicy Tuna Starter Kit, which adds in Familiar Faces.
There are other tiers, with the top at $45 and fulfilment coming as early as March 2022 for the digital tiers.
