I’ve plenty of great bookends here in Geek Native tower, but not all of them are up to the task of holding up the big hardback A4 books that are still considered the AAA equivalent of tabletop RPGs. I call them the “big beasts” of my RPGs.
Reviewers have said that Moku Shop’s Star Wars-inspired Death Star bookends are lighter than they look, but with their non-slip cork bottom and size, I think they’re up to the task.
[I need!]
Are these planet-destroying bookends? They are made from wood and layers of it to create that tremendous 3d effect. However, Etsy is one of the few retailers being aggressive (but not perfect) in tackling carbon from shipping. They’re in the carbon offset business while tackling their supply chain.
The Death Stars ship from the States and are 5″ long, by 10″ wide and 8.5″ high. We’re pushing towards 2,000 reviews on Etsy, and they’ve 5/5 stars.
But, they’re not cheap, certainly not to ship to the UK (see above about eh carbon offsetting) and take about two weeks to dispatch.
