On February 23rd, Rogue Sun #1 launches from Image Comic and it’s on pre-order on Comixology already. Physical copies are due March 2nd.
Written by Ryan Parrot, the series picks up with Dylan Siegel finding out that he’s about to be thrust headlong into a position of danger and supernatural responsibility.
The comic book series has been given a 15+ rating on ComiXology.
The synopsis kicks off;
Yesterday: New Orleans’ greatest hero, ROGUE SUN, was murdered.
Today: rebellious teenager DYLAN SIEGEL discovers that Rogue Sun was his estranged father, Marcus—and that he’s inherited his father’s mantle. Tasked with protecting our world from the forces of the supernatural—and solving his father’s murder—Dylan will be forced to come to terms with the man he’s spent the majority of his life hating.
Ryan Parrott has written for lines like Power Rangers and Dead Day and Image’s Supermassive. Abel led art from the supernatural murder mystery, who previously worked on Crimes of Passion and Harley Quinn.
Rogue Sun first appeared in Supermassive, which is hot of the press from Image too. It’s not Rogue Sun that headlines that crossover, either, but another one of Image’s new creations.
