Scoundrel Game Labs are planning to launch a Kickstarter in March for a 5e-powered ghost hunting game.
Ahead of the campaign launch, the RPG studio has released a 9-page preview that’s free to download.
If the crowdfunding campaign is successful, the full rules will include a bestiary with ghosts and other haunting entities, player options, and DM tools.
In total, Grizelda’s Guide will introduce 12 new subclasses and more than 20 illustrated monsters to add to D&D and other 5e-powered campaigns.
In the spirit (if you’ll excuse the pun) of “tools, not rules”, the Ghost Hunting supplement also introduces tools for building scenarios with appropriate supernatural tension. There are also new rules, such as mechanics for seances, mediums, and huntings.
The 5e book has the standard new spells, magic items, and NPCs and the less standard inclusion of ghost hunting guilds.
