The first Tome of Titans nudged towards 2,000 backers. Are all of them evil DMs looking for truly terrifying monsters to throw at high-level D&D heroes?
Epic Legacy Tome of Titans – Vol 2 has launched and within 24 hours it has shot past 500 backers, which is about three times the funding target they needed. More scary bid baddies are on the way and you can find out more or join in from the project page.
Tier 4 D&D games, or the last quarter of the levels in 5e, means the characters are powerful even by high fantasy standards and this can be challenging for DMs.
How about a Nul-Thum, then, a moon that eats whole planets? That’s 2CGaming’s legendary monster response. There are familiar faces and all-new encounters lined up.
Ryan Servis, Tome of Titans Volume 2 Lead Designer and 2CGaming’s Co-owner, told the press;
We plumbed the depths of fantasy lore and editions past to aid you in integrating each titan into your game. Using their mythos incorporating these creatures into your favorite campaign setting is a breeze.
The Kickstarter story page shows mostly the whole table of contents, but there are TBD (to be decided) sections left in them.
Here’s that moon. I recommend having a prize for whoever says “That’s no moon” first.
Supporters who can back 2CGaming with $25 or more will be thanked in the form of the PDF edition of Epic Legacy Tome of Titans: Volume 2.
Stepping up to $55 in backing adds the hardcover print to the rewards, but you’ll have to work out shipping as an additional charge later.
There are two higher tiers, and the first is for the Deluxe Hardcover, which replaces the standard edition for backers making a $99 donation.
Lastly, there’s that big jump to $380 for the Legacy Collector’s Box, which comes with gemstone dice, DM screens, books and even cards.
The PDF content is slated for a November delivery, but the hardback, given the current paper shortage and printer backlogs, isn’t expected until May 2023.
