Crawling Death Below The Dyring Forest will be a third-party Mork Borg book from Brian Colin if the planned Gamefound crowdfunding campaign is successful.
If you’re tempted, even a little, then it might be worth hitting the Follow button on the launch page. You’ll get a free fashion patch if you do that now and then back later. It’s a cool skull.
Brian Colin is the creator of Vast Grimm, a sci-fi spin on Mork Borg, and another game with high impact art.
Stretch goals may even link Crawling Death with the horrible deadly world of Vast Grimm.
Gamefound is counting down the days until launch. We’re on schedule for the 22nd of March.
The creaky, rotting trees, devoid of color that make up the Dying Forest lie between the Bergen Chrypt and the Valley of the Unfortunate Undead. At the far edges of the forest, on the outskirts of those regions, are entries into a cavernous tunnel system that can allow those who dare not travel through the trees to make their way beneath them. Deep inside lies wealth beyond comprehension, all-powerful magicks, and an ancient evil that must be stopped.
Vast Grimm was one of the first RPGs to try out Gamefound. The fact that Brian Colin was satisfied with the campaign’s performance enough to run the next one there is telling. The sci-fi horror, just like Crawling Death, was wisely promoted ahead of launch, so its success shouldn’t all be credited to the platform.
Nevertheless, the timing is interesting as Kickstarter wrestles with concerns over the Blockchain and associated technologies.
