IWOOT has stocked two Women of the Galaxy books in time for International Women’s Day.
The first, Star Wars: Women of the Galaxy – Book offers a £4.50 saving on RFP and features 200 pages on 75 Star Wars women.
We’re not just talking bad-ass heroes, though; Star Wars politicians, mercenaries, and villains are included. Each character gets brought to life through recaps of their main story points and fresh insights.
Amy Ratcliffe, the book’s author, has dug out extra behind-the-scenes details to share as well.
There’s a companion book that’s also been discounted. Actually, it’s a companion notebook set.
There are three books in the set, one for Leia Organa, one for Rey and if you’re curious to who the publisher “Abrams & Chronicles” thinks the third woman of Star Wars is, then, well, it’s Ahsoka Tano, and I’m sure many fans will agree.
The notebooks are lightly ruled and marked up with quotes from the characters and some art well on the inside and back covers as a bonus.
IWOOT, once known as “I Want One Of Those”, wouldn’t have been my first choice for a Star Wars shopping site, I must admit. However, the retail has over 1,000 matches on their product search for the brand. and you can even filter by series. “Return of the Jedi” tops that last with 565 matches but there are Concept Series results too, and that’s where this steampunk-style R2D2 Funko Pop can be found.
