Don’t need all your D&D to be Eastern European fantasy? What about Slavic? The Poland-based Maksym Mikołajczyk and team make 3d printable minis for tabletop. This week they launched Nejavina, a Slavic 5e setting complete with 3D printables, and it’s funded.
Maksym describes Nejavina as a full-fledged RPG setting rooted in Slavic folklore and mythology. Hundreds of backers have joined in, and the campaign is approaching €25,000 in funds. You can join from the pitch page.
Nejavina comes with new sub-classes inspired by Slavic professions, new playable races based on folklore, and items, spells, and rituals from similar stories.
The setting has detailed lore, including nine things called “Voivodeships”, and chapters about life in the world, culture and customs. The bestiary has 50 statblocks and is complete with illustrations.
A ready-to-play set of adventure modules suitable for low, medium and high-level characters is included, with a map and even a guide on pronouncing useful Nejavina words.
Tempted? There’s a free quickstart to download from Google Drive.
Venture into the mysterious place called Nejavina, meaning Unwakeful Land, a Land of Dreams. Meet the colorful peoples, folklore-rooted demons and cheeky domovojs – house spirits.
You can pledge and support with any amount of money but backers who reach €20 will be rewarded with PDFs of the core rules and maps or a set of 3d printable minis.
At €50, backers will get all of the above.
The hardcover is included in the rewards at €80 (which is about £67), and the PDF of the core rules and stretch goals, maps and digital maps.
STL minis are added to that at €99 and then the reward tiers leap up to €250 to cater to businesses wanting a printing license.
There are some early bird deals that include physical miniatures, a temptation if you don’t have a 3d printer, but none below €280.
Maksym Mikołajczyk and the team estimate fulfilment of the project around April 2023.
