It’s the end of a busy week. I hope you get the chance to relax and catch up on all this RPG news.
This is a week in which;
- WotC confirmed Dragonlance and Spelljammer for 5e
- Hasbro announced a $100m hit and price rises
- Investors accused Wizards of the Coast’s new boss of being connected to a shady company
- After a backlash, the Dark Souls RPG is to be re-printed, errors fixed.
- Scammers targeted Steve Jackson Games’ Ukraine charity t-shirt sale
- The first new Steve Jackson Fighting Fantasy book in 30 years was confirmed
- These are not the same Steve Jackson
How’s that as an approach to the introduction to Routinely Itemised? It’s the second time the RPG news column has opened with a bullet-point summary of the bullet point main meal, and I rather like it.
That said, it feels like there are fewer bullet points this week. In that, that’s my new day job eating time, but also, I’m not listing all the third-party D&D Direct news coverage as that would take years.
Okay! Time to follow those bullets with even more bullet points and the promised RPG news.
