Green Ronin, who publish The Expanse RPG, Dragon Age and the romantic fantasy Blue Rose among others, have a new game in development.
Twilight Accord is a queer-focused D&D’s 5e fantasy setting and campaign.
The development is happening in semi-public; on Patreon. That means you can support the project with cash and receive benefits for doing so.
At $2 a month, gamers can back the Twilight Accord TTRPG’s development and get monthly progress updates, text excerpts, and art and cartography excerpts throughout the month.
Joining the playtesting material and feedback progress is a new perk for people who support at $6 a month.
Then, at $12 a month, supporters also get a monthly Boon Award, and occasional “Champion Level offers in The Boon Shop”.
What’s a Boon? Green Ronin says;
Additionally, you’ll receive one Boon every month of patronage at the Champion level. The design team will occasionally make Champion-level offers to the Patreon to contribute in some way, an opportunity that will “cost” a certain number of Boons. Name or describe an NPC, propose a monster, magic item, or spell concept for us to design, or name a business or key location!
All three tiers also get “Publishing Rewards” which are a reminder that the campaign’s goal is to bring the book to publication.
Veteran and acclaimed designer Steve Kenson of Mutants & Masterminds and Blue Rose is at the helm.
