Spriggan is a prominent manga, so it’s getting another anime, even though it’s had one before.
Netflix will undoubtedly make this a hit, and there are signs the streaming platform isn’t messing around. It has, for example, issued a Japanese language trailer and an English one, and I seem fussy now because I’d like a Japanese one with English subtitles.

As Netflix points out, 10 million copies of the manga are in circulation, and so even though it’s entirely legal to swap and sell books, there are a lot of buyers for Spriggan.
The show features super-level action and military-style spies in a tussle to secure the technology that once ruled the Earth.
IMDB says;
Deep in the Ararat Mountains of Turkey, a secret organization known as ARCAM has found what is believed to be Noah’s Ark.
However, the U.S. Machine Corps., a rogue organization of the Pentagon, wants to take over the Ark as a means of global supremacy. Only a special ARCAM operative known as a Spriggan stands in their way. Japanese Spriggan Yu Ominae teams up with French Spriggan Jean-Jacques Mondo to combat members of the U.S. Machine Corps. led by Col. MacDougall a genetically-enhanced boy with deadly psionic powers. However, they must act fast and stop MacDougall before he uses the Ark for his own agenda.
The show is out on the 18th of June, and it’s out worldwide. However, we’re only getting 6 episodes of about 45 minutes each.
Netflix, of course, hasn’t said where we’ll be in the story after those 6 episodes, and I imagine the platform is keen to find out. It’ll take it from there.
Kill la Kill episode director Hiroshi Kobayashi is directing the show while Attack on Titan, Mob Psycho 100 and Jujutsu Kaisen scribe Hiroshi Seko is on the script.
