Buckle up for a kick-ass trailer for Le-Van Kiet’s The Princess.
The Princess is played by Joey King (Ellie from The Kissing Booth, Sally Taylor from Jericho), and the series is being picked up by Hulu. It is uncertain whether we’ll see it here in the UK.
IMDB offers up the following for a synopsis;
When a strong-willed princess refuses to wed the cruel sociopath, she is kidnapped and locked in a remote tower of her father’s castle. With her vindictive suitor intent on taking her father’s throne, the princess must save the kingdom.
The Princess is due to appear on Hulu from July 1st.
Having said that, the UK fate of The Princess is uncertain; this blogger notes the Free Trial page on Hulu.com no longer redirects UK visitors off to a Thanks-But-No-Thanks blocking page. The prices are still in US dollars, and there’s a Disney bundle being offered, but it all seems unlikely to me.
