The third instalment of Jack Dixon’s Adventuring With Pride LGBT+ 5e supplement is on Kickstarter, funded and positioned to raise money for Stonewall.
Stonewall was formed in 1989, named after the 1969 riots, and is a charity that campaigns for the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people. Previous books in the Adventuring with Pride series have raised money for Stonewall and other LGBT charities. After the Kickstarter, 50% of the proceeds of this book will go the same way. You can back or find out more on the project page.
You don’t need to have the previous books in the series to use A Queero’s Journey. You can use this Kickstarter to get them, though.
The 100+ page supplement for 5e will be a PDF, and a hardback will have four one-shot adventures, three subclasses, the LaRou player race of Flamboyant bird-folk, NPCs and new GM tools.
Jack Dixon, the designer and author, describes the book;
Adventuring With Pride: A Queero’s Journey is the third instalment in the Tabletop RPG series, Adventuring with Pride. It features over 100 pages of queer-oriented fifth-edition content, a stunning cast of characters, and a whole load of LGBT friendly classes, backgrounds and more! Explore the diverse world of Wysteria, fight hipster cultists, experience the glitz and glamour of the silver screen, and maybe, just maybe, save the world while you’re at it.
A pledge of £10 towards the project is enough to land a PDF copy, and at £25, there will be the hardback edition as well.
Physical goodies are added to the rewards at £50. Those goodies are an art print of the cover, chapter artworks, postcards, die-cut stickers, an Adventuring With Pride flag and (my favourite) a Dragon Pride pin badge.
Beyond that level, spaces a limited, but there’s a £150 tier that adds a custom NPC of your design, one for a custom spell and a £200 for everything. The top tier is £500.
Jack estimates the project will be shipping by December and the PDF before that in September.
