Resume.io has scraped LinkedIn for some interesting research.
The site is about getting a job and providing tips and help for writing your CV. It’s in their nature to be curious about who is a good employer and who is not. While not a tech solution for a job like CV Scan, it turns out that Resume.io has some programming chops as they’ve scraped, processed and presented the average employee time at companies.
The companies that people stay the longest at are HSBC Bank US and Neutrogena, who keep people for over 10 years, then the pharma Merck & Co and reporting company Thomson Reuters.
In contrast, the companies that churn through people quick are dominated by tech and retail. Coinbase is dead last, but Amazon, Alphabet, Shein, Zoom and Reddit struggle to do much better. While Merck does well, rival pharma company Moderna does awfully.
We can also see computer game publishers and developers with the interactive table offering a filter. BioWare is top, with Sega a close second and Capcom and Valve next.
Roblox and Epic Games are located at the bottom of the computer game employee pile, both above Activision.
