Relentless Fiction publishes the Hexengeddon RPG. The 224-page download is priced at $30.99 but marked down to $7.99.
A lot? The early reviews, and there’s been a couple, give it 55. The publisher gives it an MA-17 rating, noting that it mixes modern politics with fantasy. Later, Relentless Fiction says the RPG takes dystopia straight out of the headlines, so we’re not left wondering what they think of the current state of the world.
In the game, you’re a witch, and the core rules have chargen, the system, world information, allies, enemies, a pre-written adventure and character sheets.
As a witch or human, they must fight a war started by the sinister minions of the fascist and hateful, Serpent.
The 10-page quickstart leads with an introduction on playing with success and failure roles, getting into combat, some essential character generation and then the game’s colourful character sheet.
The video, provided by Relentless, is a little slow to get going but shows you the types of witches you could play in the game.
