I didn’t notice this when Geek Native first aired some Black Summoner action but Kelvin (that’s our hero) has some pretty impressive ear armour going on.
You wouldn’t want to meddle with those spikes!
The latest trailer doesn’t just show off weird jewellery but also reveals the opening theme “Dounchuu DEAD END” by retbear.
The plot is all about waking up in a strange place with your memories traded for power. Would you do it?
Wikipedia says the show has been licensed by Crunchyroll, but they didn’t mention that when they carried the trailer last week. They did find the J-Novel Club description of the original novels, though, saying;
Waking up in a strange new place with no memory of his past life, Kelvin learns that he’s bartered away those very memories in exchange for powerful new abilities during his recent transmigration. Heading out into a whole new world as a Summoner — with his first Follower being the very goddess who brought him over! — Kelvin begins his new life as an adventurer, and it isn’t long before he discovers his hidden disposition as a battle junkie. From the Black Knight of the Ancient Castle of Evil Spirits to the demon within the Hidden Cave of the Sage, he revels in the fight against one formidable foe after another. Join this OP adventurer in an exhilarating and epic saga as he and his allies carve their way into the annals of history!
There doesn’t seem to be a new image release for the approaching anime, but there is “The Bound Demon” cover art from the novel available from Amazon.
