Jeremy Landry is a published comic book author, a creator of RPG systems and working with Jake Rieman and Olivier Denis to bring the RPG Peipsol to life.
It’s a steampunk setting with airship pirates, or where you can play a dragon and characters have a video-game-like Soulbreak reaction. The campaign is asking for CA$8,000 to fund.
In Peripsol, you can play as an orc, elves and faye, something exotic like a bipedal insectoid Xims or even a legendary creature like the divine darkness of Abisalites or Dragon.
Characters could carry elemental wands, wear super-heavy armour, wield blade-funs and fly airships.
The game system uses a d10 pool and target numbers to beat.
Describing the world, the Kickstarter says;
A medieval – steampunk world filled with magic and technology. where one can be an air pirate or a merchant to a techno enhanced soldier. Visit the massive Bolorian forest, home of the Elves, The Moltic Mountain where the mines of the dwarven empire lie or fancy a trip to the eastern Soonial desert but be wary of the seclusive Insectoids the Xims. Venture to the North and discover the wise stories of the dragons or encounter different casts of the Faye throughout the lands.
You can back the project for any cash and, of course, social shares.
If you can reach as high as CA$35, or about £23, and get a PDF of the core rules.
The player bundle, with core rules, character sheets and 1 d10 bag bundle, is for backers at $40. There’s shipping to add.
CA$50 as an early bird and a printed tier for the main book. The GM deal, which adds a GM screen, a hardcover, dice, and PDFs, is $80.
There are also CA$100 and $150, $200 and $400 tiers.
The team estimates a July 2023 delivery for most of the tiers.
