Outland has 5e and Tombpunk-powered RPGs, and now, for When the Wolf Comes, will use Robert J. Schwalb’s Shadow of the Demon Lord rules.
The game is based on Ian Sharpe’s Vikingverse books and comics.
As the name suggests, there’s Viking and Norse action here but there’s also a modern world and a sci-fi twist.
Shadow of the Demon Lord is a tough game, with corruption for mature players.
The 250-page hardcover of the Norse End of Days will be a complete RPG, no third-party books needed, with GM tools, monsters and history on the Niu Heimar.
Sharpe told the press;
I couldn’t be more excited to work with Rob’s rules to help people battle against my reimagined Ragnarök. He is the perfect partner with whom to face the end of all things.”
Meanwhile, the 20-year industry veteran Robert Schwalb added;
The Norse setting is so timeless, it really is the wellspring of all modern fantasy. I love the way the Vikingverse setting takes archetypes we know and love, and holds up a dark mirror to the genre.”
There’s a Kickstarter planned and slated for the 12th of July.
